The Northern Gathering

The
Northern Gathering is what it says; it's a gathering in the north of
ex-Green Howards who are proud of their ties with the Regiment and are
keen to make the effort to meet up with their old army buddies.
The Gathering takes place on the First Saturday of every month; at approx 12 o'clock noon and onwards.
There is no formal (boring!) meeting; just turn up and have a drink and chin-wag with other ex-Green Howards.
All you are asked to do is slip £1 in the kitty and support the raffles; all monies collected go to finance the Buffet which is laid on every third month or on Special Occasions.
So if you've not yet been to a Gathering, get yourself there, I'm sure you'll have a good time and return time after time.
