| 1. Scan your photos into your computer. |
| a/ Save them as JPEG files. (e.g.., filename.jpg ) |
| b/ If you have some kind of "Photo Software" then reduce the resolution of the pictures to 72dpi. |
| c/ Reduce the physical size of the pictures. I reduce the height to 600 pixels. |
| (Slightly smaller than a third of the size of your screen). |
|
If you can't reduce the photo size or resolution, don't worry. Just send the pictures and I'll do it at my end! |
|
d/ Don't forget where
you saved them to, because you'll need to find them later. |
| 2. Email the photo files to me. |
| a/ Open a new Email message and write the details of each photo. (Names, place and when). |
| b/ On the menu bar, at the top of your Email window, click on "Insert". A new menu box will |
| drop down. On the new menu box click on "File". |
| c/ A new, slightly larger, box will open showing some of the files that are on your computer. |
| d/ Navigate to where you saved your photo files. (navigate in the same way as you do in |
| Windows Explorer!). |
|
e/ When you've got the photo file names in the box,
double click on them and they will be |
| attached to your Email. Icons for each attachment will appear somewhere on your |
| Email (usually at the bottom). |
| 3. Send them
to:
xixray@ex-greenhowards.com
or raymond.gascoyne@btinternet.com
|
| Note: these instructions are for users of Microsoft's Email Express or Express 2000. I'm afraid I am |
| not familiar with any other Email software.( Sorry! ). |
