 June 2010 XIX Association Golf Bluebells, Low Lane High Leven YARM TS15 9JT RE: GREEN HOWARDS ASSOCIATION GOLF SOCIETY ANNUAL ALMA CHALLENGE 17 SEPTEMBER 2010 Gentlemen This years Annual Golf match will, as explained on the old Pals web site, be played at Richmond Yorkshire Golf Club on Friday 17th September 2010. 18 holes, Stableford, four balls, maximum handicap being 28. Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd for serving and ex Green Howards and a special trophy for the highest scoring guests. Prizes will be awarded for nearest the pins on the par 3’s and longest drives on the par 5’s and a selection of other prizes will be awarded depending upon numbers. The cost of the day will be £37-00. This includes Coffee and Bacon Bap on arrival, 18 holes of the finest golf in Yorkshire, Prizes to die for and a sit down meal at 1800hrs. (ish) If you have any special dietary requirements please let us know. Vegetarian meals are available as an alternative. Last year’s format seemed to go very well therefore we will once again have an informal sit down meal with the prize giving after the meal. (Jackets & Ties optional) This may stretch the day somewhat but as most of you know this is normal for a golf society day. And the craic is always good. Tee Off times are reserved from 1100 hrs through to 1300 hrs and you should aim to be at Richmond GC no later than 1015 hrs on Friday 17th September. If you are travelling from afar or for whatever reason you think you may be late then please annotate on the proforma a preferred Tee Off time and we will try to accommodate you otherwise names will be placed as the entries come in.
